Parent University I – Family Engagement “Behavior Supports”
Parent University # 1: One of our school goals this year is to increase and continue Family Engagement Opportunities. You may have participated in some of our events (Reptile Man, Pumpkin Carving, grade level events, Cub Pride assemblies etc.). To honor our Parent Survey results, we are offering our first Parent University on the topic of behavior supports Thursday, November 16th. Dinner will be at 6pm with the following sessions and resources available:
*Family Resource Center – class options *Deschutes County Mental Health supports for families *Parent Helping Parents- Question and answer opportunity with other parents *Do’s and Don’ts of behavior management with Erin Taylor, RSD Behavior Specialists *School Tools- information about behavior support systems at Lynch
